| Clicking on this button will allow you to view a location or index map of the County. The red box defines the extents of the current main map view. If you click on the overview map, the main map view will maintain current scale and center itself where you clicked. |

| The full extent button is a good tool for when you're lost. By clicking on this button the user will automatically be taken back the overview of the county. You're taken back to the start. |

| Clicking on this button display the map layer list. Using the layer legend you can review the layers currently being displayed as well as turn on and off layers as needed. |

| Clicking on this button allows the user to do a point zoom or a box zoom. For a point zoom, click the button then move to the map area and click where you want to go. For a box zoom, click the button and the move to the map area and click and drag open a box on the area you wish to zoom in on. |

| The zoom out button is quite simple. The user simply clicks on the button the moves to the map area and clicks on the area to zoom out from. |
Zoom Back To Previous View

| By clicking this button the user can retrieve the map previous to the one currently being displayed. For example, if the user creates a map and then zooms in and decides they have zoomed in to far, and liked the last display, they can click this button and it will automatically take them back to the last view of the map. |

| By clicking this button the user can then drag the map to view a new area. To pan the user must click the button then move to the map area and click and drag the map. |

| Clicking this tool will activate the identify function that allows a user to click on the map and view the location's voting information. After activating the tool, move the mouse over the map and click anywhere. A table will appear within this frame with the cooresponding voting information. |
Measure Distance & Area

| By clicking this button the user can measure the area and distance of line features drawn on the map. To do this the user must click on the button and move to the map area. In the map area the user can simply click the mouse where they want to measure, for example to measure a district area, the user would click in one corner of the lot, then the second corner, then the third corner and finally the last corner. The district area and perimeter will be calculated in the box above the map. Simply connect the dots. Once done with this tool click it again to clear the measurement lines that were created. |

| The map generator button will open a printing dialog that will allow the user to produce a professional looking scaled map composition in either Landscape or Portrait aspect on Letter paper. Please follow the instructions on the map generator dialog that appears when clicking on this button. |
