On February 19th from 5am - 9am the GIS Department will be performing an upgrade on the core GIS servers that power and store the Internet map viewers and related datasets. This upgrade includes not only moving to the newest version of Internet mapping software but also adding a second dedicated Internet mapping server. This will double the number of simultaneous maps that can be generated and thus reduce the time all users see the “Generating Map” graphic while using the viewers.
