Columbia, Missouri GPS Base Station
The U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, Columbia Environmental Research Center in Columbia, Missouri is currently operating a Global Positioning System Community Base Station (CBS). The base station consists of a Trimble 12-channel maxwell-based GPS receiver, logging continuous synchronized measurements to a personal computer. The base station is in operation 24 hours per day. Base station files are available as one-hour data files which have been compressed and converted to self-extracting executable files for faster downloading. |

Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission
A commission of local city and county governments that provides assistance in transportation planning, community and economic development, as well as mapping needs for communities in Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard and Moniteau Counties. Partnering with the Missouri Department of Transportation our Transportation Advisory Council provides guidance in prioritizing transportation projects throughout the region. The Economic Development Advisory Committee assists in the steering of economic development activities throughout the region |
